Now with Increased Security

Earlier today, we rolled out some exciting new features that are aimed to keep your files and their versions safe. From here on out,

• All sign-in, account and upgrade pages will only be served through HTTPS.
• We’ve tightened up security on our file storage as well. All file requests are signed with temporary certificates that expire quickly. Evil doers, be gone!
• We’ve moved to a new method of generating permalink URLs, which ensures greater security.

Although we don’t expect it, these security changes may lead to some quirky behavior. If you see anything out of the ordinary, please write to support@layervault.com. But we’re not stopping here. We’ll be doing everything possible in the coming weeks to continue to ratchet up security.
